It's a Living room.

A place where all our gatherings happen. A place where you relax, binge-watch and conduct a game night.

And to make the most out of this place one certainly needs a vibe that is friendly, cozy and interactive.

To attain which following are 3 things one needs to enhance their living room:

1. ADD. THE. GREENS.

Plants go with anything and everything. It has benefits that help in purifying the air and they in fact liven up the room instantly. Be it bohemian, victorian, ethnic or modern any vibe you want to create is incomplete without a plant. Plants are a part of the new Zen mode. Choose the kind of plants you like and add colour and style with an amazing vase collection to create a story.

2. Hang a wall-art that showcases your personality:

An empty wall is like an empty house. This does not mean one should overload the wall with different art pieces and photo frames. There needs to be a balance and harmony running through your living room. Pick up art that speaks the most to you and keep it clean. If you can invest the time it is always good to create your DIY masterpiece. It is unique, precise and something made by you can express your taste in the best way and make you fall in love with your living room.

3. Play with Colours and Textures:

Decide a point of focus and decorate it with contrasting colour paints or artistic wallpapers. We do not want chaos. For example, if you have a fireplace in your living room that is your focal point. Decorate the back wall and hang some wall art. The arrangement of your furniture can depend on the placement of your fireplace. Create a colour scheme of your likings and add in the pop colours in small items to be precise and chaos-free. You can play with textures of sofa, curtains, rugs and a cozy throw. You can also add a pop of prints and textures by adding different pillows.

My living room is my pride and my happy place. Coming from India I added a few quirky and regional things to make it feel like home and that is how I showcase my personality through my living room.
