Don’t we all agree with this famous proverb? Every failure we face takes us one step closer to success. Every failure is a teacher that helps in correcting the mistakes made and encourages us to try till we succeed.

Do you know the story of KFC and Colonel Harland Sanders?

Colonel Sanders, the founder of KFC is a robust character who successfully marketed Kentucky Fried Chicken’s “finger-lickin' good.”

A successful fast-food chain owner with approximately 24000 stores in over 145 countries had his share of hardships and bad luck.

Did you know Colonel Sanders was 75 years old when he became the world's most popular icon?

He was rejected 1009 times before KFC. At an earlier age, he failed at every job he tried from lawyer to salesman.

He was a strong-willed man who never gave up. He kept on trying different things, different career paths in his entire life to figure out his strengths. He became a chef only after he turned 40 and at the age of 62, he franchised his first Kentucky Fried Chicken.

He learnt from his every job, his every experiment, his every mistake and that led him to be a man, a brand that is known to all generations.

What do you think would have happened if he had given up after his first failed attempt?

It is hard for me to imagine the abundant strength, courage and curiosity that the colonel had. When I first read his story it inspired and motivated me to never give up and to learn from every failure. To date whenever I feel like giving up this proverb and such amazing success stories helps me to focus and recharge.

“It doesn’t matter whether you are 15 years old or 75. All that matters is to have the will to never give up on yourself.”

Even when a child learns to walk, he/she falls and then stands up again, walks a step and falls again. It takes time to achieve great things. Every child is full of curiosity and motivation and hence they embrace and learn from every fall. But as we grow old, due to increasing pressure we fear failure and give up quickly.

We all live in a world full of opportunities. If you fail, don't give up. Try again and keep trying till you achieve your desired goal.

In this generation, we all get bored easily and hence we must do what we love to ensure 100% dedication to success.

Having fun doing what we love and earning money from it is the ideal dream and new motto we all follow. The beginnings are going to be tough but with hard work, courage, patience and willpower we can achieve our goals with a worthy reward.

Never stop believing in yourselves. You can be whatever you want to be and you can reach wherever you want to reach.
