One of the most powerful things you can do to support the Black community, help them grow and elevate, and to stand against racist forces trying to pull this community down is to shop from black owned businesses. This helps small businesses grow, raises profits for redistribution of power and wealth of competition, and places the power in the hands of the black community and their workers and employees.

Here are a few small black owned businesses you can support!

1. Pyer Moss

Pyer moss is a fashion brand, through their clothing this brand produces collections that promote activism, storytelling, debate, and social commentary to challenge social constructs.

2. 4th Ave Market

4th ave market is a beauty store that carries thousands of Black-owned brands including hair, skin, personal care etc. 4th Ave market supports black owned brands and businesses and gives profit back to them as well as supports the black owned community.

3. Dope Coffee

Dope coffee is a coffee and skincare shop. It’s unique style sells ground coffee and coffee based skin care products as well as hip hop inspired merch.

These three businesses are a great place to start supporting the black community and its success!
